Our Shared Night Sky is a gallery of astrophotography taken of Sunderland landmarks as part of the opening exhibit of Culture House Sunderland in collaboration with Kielder Observatory.
Roker Lighthouse off the coast of Sunderland aligns perfectly with the rising full moon - it glows deep amber due to the atmosphere scattering light when objects are viewed low on the horizon.
