Volunteer Open Day

About this event

Have you ever thought about volunteering at the award-winning Kielder Observatory? Well...  Now's your chance! We are one of the fastest growing and most unique tourist attractions in the North of England and are always looking for people to join our group of enthusiastic volunteers. This open day will give you the chance to see the Observatory and meet the team so that you have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about helping us deliver our fantastic range of events. No knowledge of the night sky or previous experience is necessary as all training will be provided, all that we ask is that you are reliable and have a willingness to learn. We even cover the cost of travel expenses for our volunteers!

If you would like to attend this event, please book your place by booking a ticket here for every attendee. There is no cost for tickets but make sure you complete the booking process so you receive your e-ticket by email. Places are limited so please only confirm your ticket when you are sure you can attend. All attendees should be aged at least 18 yrs. (Please note: we are unable to cover travel expenses for this event)
